BOOK

Screenwriting Fundamentals

The book I co-wrote with Irv Bauer has enormous value for both beginning writers and more experienced writers. It is written in an accessible anecdotal style that takes you from a blank page working through each stage of the craft and process of screenwriting incrementally step-by-step. You learn how to identify each piece of the puzzle and how to put the pieces together eventually culminating in a finished first draft screenplay. The book helps you take the process of scriptwriting out of your head and on to the page.

Excellent book on how to write a screenplay.

Julian Friedman - literary Agent/Producer - London

You can purchase the book from the publisher, Screenwriting Fundamentals: The Art and Craft of Visual Writing. You can also rent the book from the publisher’s site, which will be an ideal way to work while studying with me.

One of the best nuts and bolts books on screenwriting.

ENRICO TESSARIN: TUTOR - LONDON FILM SCHOOL - writer/producer

Undoubtedly there will be moments in your career when you feel stuck, and that is when you will be glad you can reach for the book on your shelf, knowing that reading it will jolt you free again so you can keep on writing. The book has enormous value as reinforcement, and a reminder of the craft and yes, the art, of writing the screenplay.
