What an incredible year. A true test of will and commitment on the part of the writers and the actors in holding steadfast to their demands and having the foresight to ensure the results will protect the future. Did we all take a deep breath and enjoy Thanksgiving? And now it’s almost Christmas, so let me suggest a gift for the budding screenwriters among your friends and family, Screenwriting Fundamentals is just that, a solid introduction to the basics “of the art and craft” of one of the most seductive professions.
“Movies” are back. What a feeling to sit with a whole bunch of strangers in a darkened theater and experience your deepest emotions, or, share a laugh-out-loud moment. Nothing like it. We go to the movies to lose ourselves and at the same time to explore our own individual truths. No other narrative art can get as close to the the skin of daily life, and also transport us elsewhere into the realms of our dreams.
